James Lesh led research on Rainbow Jews. This project celebrated LGBT Jewish History and Heritage across the United Kingdom. It was supported by the UK Heritage Lottery Fund and Liberal Judaism. James contributed to community engagement, oral histories, object collection, archival research and exhibition curation.
